Solution Architect – Microsoft Cloud Security

Responsibilities

1.      Extensive knowledge and experience on Microsoft Cloud Security solutions part of Microsoft 365 licenses including Defender XDR, Intune, Entra ID, Purview etc.

2.      Work with sales and business development managers to demonstrate Microsoft/Azure Security products capability and its use cases.

3.      Prepare solution design/implementation plan with effort estimations for the technical proposal on technologies like Microsoft Purview Information protection, Defender for endpoint, Cloud App Security, Identity protection & Azure cloud security

4.      Understand customer technical requirements and guide the sales team in recommending right combination and solution sets and licenses.

5.      Must be able to produce high quality technical proposals and architecture as per customer requirements.

6.      Conduct and lead proof of concept of Microsoft 365 E5/E3 Security/Compliance and Azure security with a clear timelines and success criteria with help of delivery team.

7.      Assist the remote deployment resources for implementation of the solution as and when required.

Experience

·      Total IT / Information Security experience – 5 to 12 years

·      Relevant technology experience – 2-3 years

Technical skills

Must have strong knowledge on minimum three areas below from Microsoft 365 E5 / Azure Security & Compliance. Broad knowledge on the other products listed and its use cases.

·      Microsoft Information Protection

·      Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

·      Azure AD Identity Protection & Defender for Identity.

·      Intune MAM/MDM

·      Microsoft Cloud App Security (CASB)

·      Azure security center & Azure defender

·      Azure sentinel

General skills

·      Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·      Good understanding of Cloud computing - Azure/AWS/Google

·      Knowledge on data protection & DLP technologies

·      IT infrastructure, network security high level knowledge / experience.

·      Knowledge on general security technologies. (Application security, infra security)

·      High level Knowledge on regulatory requirements with respect to security/compliance.
