We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in cybersecurity to lead the successful delivery of security-focused initiatives for our clients. This role involves managing multiple concurrent projects—ranging from penetration testing engagements and SIEM deployments to large-scale security transformations—ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with cybersecurity best practices.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
· Collaborate with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and success metrics.
· Develop detailed project plans, resource assignments, risk mitigation strategies, and communication plan.
· Coordinate with cybersecurity engineers, analysts, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
· Track and report on project status, risks, and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders
· Ensure alignment of project outcomes with industry security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, GDPR).
· Support proposal development and SOW creation for new cybersecurity engagements.
· Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
· Conduct post-project reviews to assess project success and gather lessons learned.
· Drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices within the cybersecurity team
· Ensure resource availability and allocation
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· 3–7 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in cybersecurity or IT security-related projects
· Proven track record of delivering projects such as Security assessments or penetration testing, Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementations, Cloud security hardening or compliance audits
Skills:
· Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and frameworks.
· Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
· Working knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, or similar.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
· PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
· Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent
· ITIL Foundation or relevant ITSM experience
